Lightning Ridge produces the most radiant opal of all the fields in the world and these blue/ greens flash like the midday sun. The setting uses gold to give the impression it is set with gemstones but it is simply the 9Kt gold body curving around the opal doublets. 5x3mm stones. The setting bears the Initiatory Current insignia I.C. for design and manufacture from Ixtlan Jewellery.
