This is a solid Lightning Ridge Opal 15x10mm irregular, hand cut. The colour sits on a solid black potch, the most sort after combination. The black on the back throws light forward through the stone and out the face. The effect is to make the fire look like it hovers 1mm off the face of the stone. A spectacular and natural effect.
