This is an Australian Sapphire from Sapphire in Queensland. Digital photography colour corrects to a deeper stone colour but the living colour is a true midtone Olive. Measuring 6.1mm diameter x 4.2mm, this piece is 1.3 carats. The Sapphire has been custom cut for Ixtlan Jewellery by a master stone cutter and shows a lively sparkle.
